Thoughts from a naked dean

This week, my RSS reader fed me this blog post from a university administrator. He relates dilemma in using the campus locker room: the awkwardness of exposing oneself (puns acknowledged) to those over whom one has a leadership/management role.

To Theater-goers: Last Night to See Provo Theatre Company Play about Same-Sex Attraction

Posted on March 23rd, 2009 by North Star

For those interested, tonight is the last night to see Little Happy Secrets, a Provo Theatre Company play about a Latter-day Saint woman who wrestles with issues around same-sex attraction. Per the announcement:

This singer, who identifies as transgendered, hails from Alberta, a province which could be described as a Canadian mix of Utah and Texas. Understandably, growing up transgendered in rural, religious Alberta would be a challenging experience. Rae (who uses male pronouns for self-reference) was raised Pentecostal and struggled with his self-identity in relation to the expectations and values of his community.
